Drawing inspiration from Patagonia's commitment to sustainability and Open Water's eco-conscious ethos, I set out to design a brewery that prioritizes environmental responsibility while fostering community connection.
CONTEXT
Terra Brewery was conceptualized as part of a branding assignment during my design studies. The task was to build a brand rooted in the values and personality of companies I admire, with a focus on aligning with my personal interests. Inspired by Patagonia's dedication to sustainability and Open Water's innovative eco-friendly practices, Terra Brewery emerged as a brand committed to reducing environmental impact while promoting community and connection.
RESEARCH
To create Terra Brewery, I began by researching the craft beer industry, focusing on brands that prioritize sustainability and resonate with eco-conscious consumers. I explored competitors such as breweries embracing environmental responsibility, analyzing their values, packaging designs, and community initiatives. This research provided insights into industry trends and helped identify opportunities for differentiation. To define Terra Brewery’s visual identity, I created a mood board inspired by nature, minimalistic design, and bold typography, drawing elements from outdoor brands and eco-friendly packaging solutions. This foundation ensured the brand captured both its purpose and a modern, inviting aesthetic.
